Create a Demo Company for Testing

You can backup the existing database and restore to a Demo Company for testing purpose by following these procedures.

1. Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, navigate to Databases, you company database. Right Click, select Tasks->Backup...

2. Make sure the destination is backup to: Disk and click the OK button.

3. Navigate to Database, dbDemo. Right Click, select Tasks -> Restore -> Database...

(If the dbDemo does not exists, create a new database in ERPro, System Manager->Maintenance->Database Maintenance with Company Code: DEMO, Company Name: Demo Company and Database Name: dbDemo)

4. Select the original company database as the From database: and click the OK button.

Done.

Now login ERPro and select Demo Company for testing.
